Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA general industry regulations and company safety policies
- →Conduct routine floor audits, inspections, and behavioral observations to identify hazards and ensure safe work practices
- →Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and recommend corrective/preventive actions
- →Track and maintain OSHA recordkeeping (e.g., OSHA 300 logs, incident reports)
- →Deliver safety training for employees, including new hire orientation and job-specific hazard awareness
- →Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to implement hazard controls and continuous improvement initiatives
- →Support Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments for fabrication processes
- →Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures
- →Assist with emergency preparedness and response planning
- →Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, engagement, and communication
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field with 2+ years of relevant industrial safety experience
OR - High school diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant industrial safety experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA general industry standards (29 CFR 1910)
- Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and safety training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work second shift (4 PM – 2 AM) consistently
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles
- Experience with behavior-based safety programs
- Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting tools
Nice to Have
~1 min read- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry
- ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to work in an active industrial/fabrication environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
- Ability to walk the production floor for extended periods, climb stairs, and wear required PPE
