We are looking for an energetic Food Safety Manager with experience in ready-to-eat meal production environments. The Food Safety Manager plays a key role in our kitchens, responsible for monitoring and verifying that food production adheres to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Actively participate in regulatory inspection readiness, processes, and corrective actions
- →Monitor critical limits with daily checks of refrigeration, sanitation chemicals, dish machine operation, etc.
- →Review and verify records for cook-chill processes
- →Assist in developing and implementing food safety programs, including Chef audits, internal assessments, and training materials.
- →Train GMPs, sanitation, and safe food handling to employees and Chef teams
- →Promote a food safety culture within the organization
- →Identify and assess potential food safety risks in the production process
- →Monitor and inspect food production, handling, and storage areas for compliance with food safety standards as per applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- →Assist with environmental monitoring and shelf life testing.
- →Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or equivalent experience in a high compliance environment
- →Certified Food Safety Manager (e.g., ServSafe) or equivalent certification
- →Proven experience in food safety, quality control, or a related role
- →Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- →Excellent communication and training skills
- →Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- →Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety
