Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Facility EHS Manager is responsible for leading and managing the facility’s safety, health, and environmental activities to build a strong safety culture with zero harm focus and full compliance with all government regulations and company requirements.

Job responsibilities include:
- →Ensure compliance with all pertinent OSHA, EPA and OBE requirements, programs, and regulations.
- →Maintain company’s database and all other safety and environmental-related records in accordance with all federal, state, local, and company requirements.
- →Oversee, evaluate, and continuously improve facility safety initiatives to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and to build a strong safety culture. This would include but not limited to: Supporting the annual Safety Plan development.
- →Coordinating required safety documentation for the facility (JSAs, Machine Guarding &PPE Assessments, New Equipment Evaluations, etc.)
- →Reviewing and ensuring proper updating and compliance of Facility Written Programs (LOTO, PIT, Hazcom, etc)
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, environment or related field or relevant work experience equivalent to a degree
- Minimum 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret governmental safety and environmental regulations (i.e., OSHA)
- Personality, presence, and confidence to lead meetings, and coach peers & leaders.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently prioritizing work to achieve deliverables.
