As a Data Center Technician Apprentice, you’ll launch your IT career while working alongside experienced technicians who will provide hands-on coaching, real-time feedback, and mentorship every step of the way. From day one, you’ll gain practical experience in a cutting-edge AI cloud environment, developing the technical skills needed to support enterprise-scale infrastructure while contributing to the performance and reliability of our data centers.

On a typical day, you’ll:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot server, networking, and hardware issues in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Provide hands-on technical support alongside experienced data center technicians and engineers.
  • Assemble, rack, cable, and install enterprise-grade servers, networking equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, preventative maintenance, and equipment replacements to maximize system reliability.
  • Learn to automate operational tasks by developing or modifying scripts that support server and network operations.
  • Investigate hardware and software failures, perform root cause analysis, and help implement long-term solutions.
  • Follow industry-leading safety, security, and operational best practices while working in a mission-critical data center.

This apprenticeship is more than an introduction to IT - it’s an opportunity to build a strong technical foundation, develop sought-after data center and infrastructure skills, and launch a career supporting the cutting-edge technology that powers the future of AI.

While we are primarily targeting candidates who currently reside in or near these markets, applicants from other locations will be considered. Candidates who are not already based in their assigned market must be willing to relocate after successfully completing the apprenticeship program.
  • Note: Relocation support and temporary housing may be available based on individual circumstances.
  • No prior professional experience in data centers is required. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in technology, a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a hands-on environment.
