Senior Performance Tester

We are looking for a Senior Performance Tester with deep expertise in Apache JMeter and LoadRunner. This role is focused on hands-on performance testing and analysis, ensuring that applications meet stringent performance, scalability, and reliability standards. The successful candidate will be a technical specialist who thrives on solving complex performance challenges. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and execute advanced performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner. Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing across web, API, and enterprise applications. Perform in-depth analysis of test results to identify bottlenecks in application, database, and infrastructure layers. Work closely with developers and system engineers to troubleshoot performance issues and recommend optimizations. Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Monitor system metrics (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network throughput, database queries) during test execution. Document test plans, execution results, and provide clear, actionable performance reports. Stay current with emerging performance testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing with JMeter and LoadRunner. Strong proficiency in scripting, parameterization, correlation, and custom functions within performance testing tools. Solid understanding of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, REST, SOAP) and backend systems. Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus). Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and profiling data to pinpoint root causes of performance issues. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on execution. Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting findings Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Proven track record of delivering performance testing projects in complex enterprise environments. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
