A Scaffold Builder for Optimal Field Services will be responsible for assembling, daily inspection, and revision of scaffolding. This task will require employees to work at heights while wearing proper PPE. He / She will be required to pass material to each other from ground level to elevated level. At time employee will be required to climb stairs/ ladders at different elevations. This work is year around in different climates. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Inspects surface for holes, objects, and levelness.
·         Assembles scaffold consisting of guardrails, mid-rails, braces, planks, toe boards, screens and/or wheels.
·         Positions scaffold by rolling it into place or erecting in place.
·         Secures scaffold to permanent structure if required.
·         Some other assembly types may include hard barricades, strong backs, engineered scaffold, stairways, etc.
·         Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

REQUIREMENTS:
·         High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in related field is often preferred.
·         Must have one to four years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanical level.)
·         Ability to read engineered drawings preferred.
·         Ability to operate different types of forklifts.
·         National Certification preferred (may be required by client.)
·         Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
