Responsibilities

→Analyze current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities
→Lead and support process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or comparable frameworks
→Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements across stakeholders
→Translate business needs into technical requirements for IT teams, including cloud-based and networked environments
→Collaborate with developers, engineers, and system architects to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions
→Support system implementation, testing, and deployment activities
→Develop process maps, standard operating procedures, and documentation artifacts
→Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and measure process performance improvements
→Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and briefings with both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

Clearance
- Active or Interim Secret security clearance

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification (preferred)

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of IT environments, including cloud platforms and basic networking concepts
- Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, and other data or workflow tools

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal or Department of Defense programs
- Familiarity, experience with Agile or SAFe methodologies
- Understanding or experience using Jira
