Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Case Management: Handle a caseload of at least 20 active personal injury litigation cases, primarily involving trucking and commercial vehicle accidents, from intake to resolution.
- →Document Drafting: Draft petitions, discovery, and motions, ensuring thorough preparation for litigation milestones and deadlines.
- →Client Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for clients, offering empathy and professionalism in communications with those experiencing significant trauma.
- →Litigation Support: Assist attorneys in preparing for trial, maintaining a well-organized case file, and ensuring timely action on all legal tasks.
- →Collaboration: Work closely with legal and administrative staff to manage day-to-day operations and special projects, contributing to the firm's high-impact work.
- Experience: At least 5 years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably in higher-end cases such as trucking or commercial vehicle accidents.
- Caseload Management: Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CasePeer is a plus, but a willingness and ability to learn quickly is essential.
- Soft Skills: Strong multitasker, self-starter, team player, with excellent client communication and high empathy.
- Location: Preference for candidates living near Fort Worth to ensure long-term commitment and easy commute.
- Direct Leadership Access: Work closely with Jason Stephens and Tracy Hefner, offering opportunities for mentorship and direct influence on high-profile cases.
