Parts Shipper/Receiver - Winnipeg Honda

We have a great opportunity for a Parts Shipper/Receiver to join our team in a company and industry with great growth opportunities at our Winnipeg Honda Dealership located at Waverly Automall. We are one of the biggest volume dealerships in Manitoba.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in organization and accuracy, and is looking for long-term growth within the automotive industry. Our Shipper/Receivers work closely with our Parts teams and become highly familiar with our inventory, processes, and systems. This role offers strong development opportunities into other positions within the organization.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of previous experience as a shipper/receiver will be an asset
• Highly organized with an ability to learn new skills quickly
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in computer skills
• Customer service experience preferred 
• Valid driver's license
• Routinely walking, standing, bending for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

What you'll do:

• Ship and receive parts orders and verify shipping documentation
• Track, organize, and manage inventory, including correcting discrepancies and negative on-hand counts
• Fulfill parts requests for technicians in a timely manner
• Track core charges and follow up on returns
• Explain the benefits of OEM parts when interacting with customers
• Interact professionally with retail, wholesale, and internal customers
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
