Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary (2–3 months, with potential for conversion based on business needs)
Travel Requirements: Minimal (as needed to support operations)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for overtime as needed



Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by overseeing receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping activities. This role provides leadership and direction to warehouse associates, ensuring that tasks are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. The Warehouse Lead works closely with the Warehouse Manager to achieve operational goals, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold company standards for customer service and compliance.

This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 2–3 months to provide coverage for an employee on leave, with the potential for conversion to a regular position based on business needs and performance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervises daily workflow of warehouse associates and forklift operators.
  • Assigns, monitors, and reviews work to ensure proper coverage and timely completion of tasks.
  • Trains employees on safe and efficient warehouse procedures, including forklift safety and equipment inspections.
  • Provides coaching and constructive feedback; elevates performance concerns to the Warehouse Manager when necessary.
  • Promotes a positive team environment focused on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversees daily warehouse functions, including receiving, labeling, stocking, order pulling, and loading.
  • Ensures safe and proper use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Conducts daily equipment inspections and reports maintenance issues promptly.
  • Supports and enforces company safety policies and OSHA compliance; conducts toolbox talks as directed.
  • Monitors work areas for organization, cleanliness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Assists with inventory control by participating in cycle counts and resolving variances.
  • Coordinates with drivers and dispatch to support timely deliveries and order accuracy.
  • Tracks and reports daily productivity and order fulfillment metrics to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency at the team level.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to direct and motivate a team.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with WMS or ERP systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard warehouse practices, safety protocols, and equipment use.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Forklift certification required; must be willing to obtain if not currently certified.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at a time. 
  • Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, or crouch for extended periods
  • Exposure to warehouse environment conditions (noise, dust, moving equipment, temperature fluctuations)
