Eligibility Requirements
- Must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current award year
- Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress standards
- Must be enrolled in at least half-time. (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate) per semester
- Must have a federal need of at least $2,000
- Submit all requested financial aid documentation from your To-Do-List by the due date
- Must have an official award notification from the Financial Aid Office
- Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible non-citizen, or permanent resident

Under direct supervision of the Assistant Dean, Student Enrollment, Registration & Financial Services, this position supports the development of visual communications and marketing materials for various programs and initiatives. This position will assist with creating digital and print graphics, social media content, presentations, promotional materials, and branding projects. This position offers practical experience in graphic design, visual storytelling, and creative project development while contributing to student recruitment, engagement, and outreach efforts.
Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and creation of digital and print marketing materials, including flyers, posters, brochures, and promotional graphics.
• Create and edit content for social media platforms to support student engagement, recruitment, and outreach efforts.
• Assist with the development of presentations, and other visual communication materials.
• Update and revise existing graphics and promotional content as needed.
• Support the promotion of programs, services, and events through creative visual content.
• Organize and maintain digital design files, templates, and marketing assets.
• • Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental operations and outreach efforts.
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
- Special Qualification: Admission or registration as a CSU student.
- Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or greater per semester and cumulative.
- Students must be enrolled in at least halftime units at CSUSB (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate)
- International students must have full-time enrollment at CSUSB. (12 units undergraduate; 6 units graduate)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Payroll Requirement: Social Security Card
- Detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable.
- Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings.
- Affinity for other cultures and languages is preferred.
- Coursework in Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, Art, or a related field.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar design software).
- Understanding of visual design principles, typography, and branding.
- Ability to create graphics for print and digital platforms.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

~1 min readStudent Employment Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.90 per hour or (Determined by Federal Work Study).
The compensation offered will consider internal equity and experience among other factors.
