Part Time Coach Pool (2026-2027)

The Department of Athletics at California State University, Fullerton, invites applications for a pool of part-time Coaches that the department can draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.

APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE APPOINTMENT PERIOD. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.

• →Bachelor’s degree
• →Three years of Division I collegiate coaching experience or 4 years playing experience at the NCAA Division I level and 5 years coaching at the high school, club or non-Division I NCAA level, or equivalent
• →Proven ability to recruit highly skilled student-athletes and a demonstrated commitment to their satisfactory academic progress
• →Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• →Thorough knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations
• →Ability to interact successfully with a wide and culturally diverse range of students and to work harmoniously with students and colleagues
• →Demonstrated competitive coaching ability and skills
• →Must be able to drive a vehicle
• →A clean driving records

• NCAA Division I coaching experience and knowledge of various scouting and video editing software systems.
