  • Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position(s) available in the Undergraduate Advising department.

  • Position available on or after November 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 21, 2027.  Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
    
    
  • Job Description/Duties
  • Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Assist with front desk coverage for both Career Services and Undergraduate Advising, including greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff and other guests.
    • Check the main phone line voicemail and forward messages as appropriate. Respond to emails, phone call in a professional and timely manner.
    • Actively and regularly communicate with suite staff using email and Teams.
    • Check students in for appointments.
    • Develop and maintain proficiency in the use of EAB/Warrior Connect to support students, staff, and faculty.
    • Assist students with scheduling appointments through Warrior Connect.
    • Become familiar with Career Services and Undergraduate Advising Programs, services, resources, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information and appropriate referrals.
    • Assist with preparing materials for workshops, advising events, orientations, and outreach activities.
    • Provide support during Undergraduate Advising Programs, Career Fairs, networking events and other campus events as assigned.
    • Provide workshop and event support, including setup, check-in, and participant assistance as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

  • Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications:
    
    • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
    • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
  • Salary Range
  • $16.90 per hour.
