2026 Temporary Summer Boat Repairman

DATES OF COMMITMENT: March through August 13.  Dates listed are approximate, not a guarantee of employment.   RESPONSIBILITIES: The Boat Repairman is responsible for performing general maintenance, and preventative maintenance on Academy owned boats, jet skis, boat hoists, and piers.   REQUIREMENTS: The requirements for this position include a High School Diploma or HSE and a valid Indiana driver’s license with a good driving record. Applicant must have the physical capability to perform the duties of the position, which may include: bending, stooping, lifting and carrying a minimum of fifty pounds, climbing stairs, ladders, and masts, must be able to swim and work in confined spaces. Previous vocational and mechanical training is desired.
