As a Digital Content Officer, you'll help people access clear, useful information about planning, housing and infrastructure across NSW. You'll optimise and publish engaging digital content, work closely with people across the Department, and use customer insights and digital best practice to make sure websites are accessible, up to date and easy to use.

Working across multiple projects and priorities, you'll respond to emerging issues, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and ensure content remains accurate by following governance principles. Together, we make it easier for communities to find the information they need and help shape a better NSW.

What you will bring to the role

  • Experience in website content design and publishing in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering accurate, accessible and engaging information.
  • A strong understanding of digital best practice, content standards, accessibility requirements and user-centred design principles.
  • Experience using web analytics and performance data to identify insights, improve content and enhance customer experiences.
  • Confidence working with content management systems, with experience using Drupal highly regarded.
