Operations Officer

• Salary ranges from $84,659 to $92,701+ super & leave loading.
• Three full time ongoing opportunities based at Sydney International Equestrian Centre and Sydney International Regatta Centre/Penrith Whitewater Stadium

• →Practical experience supporting venue or facility operations, including maintenance activities and contractor coordination
• →A solid understanding of field of play standards, WHS requirements and safe operating practices
• →Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• →A collaborative and customer‑focused approach, working effectively with internal teams, contractors and venue hirers
• →The ability to take accountability, identify risks and respond proactively to operational issues
• →Clear communication and record‑keeping skills, with confidence using systems to document work activities and outcomes

• Obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
• Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence
• Requirement to work across any day of the week (Monday to Sunday), including evenings and participation in on‑call arrangements, in line with business and roster needs.

Additional requirement applicable for appointment at the SIRC/PWS-

• Coxswain Grade 3 Certificate (or willing and able to successfully obtain a Coxswain Grade 3 Certificate within three months of commencement).

All appointments are subject to reference checks. Successful candidates will also be required to;

• Complete a National Criminal History Record Check
• Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment confirming capability to perform the inherent requirements of the role and ongoing health monitoring as required by the NSW Work Health and Safety Regulation 2025

Hearing test (audiometric test) within 3 months of starting employment (baseline test) and a follow-up hearing test at least every 2 years.
