  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $133,348 to $146,945 + super

 

Be part of one of Australia's most exciting city-building projects. As a Senior IT Operations Officer with the Bradfield Development Authority, you'll help maintain a secure, reliable and modern technology environment that supports the delivery of Bradfield City Centre and the growth of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.

 

Working within BDA's Corporate Services team, you will provide specialist technical leadership across a diverse and evolving technology environment spanning infrastructure, applications, networks, end-user services, operational technology and integrated AV systems. A key aspect of the role is supporting the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility (AMRF), ensuring the technology platforms and services that enable advanced manufacturing, research, innovation and industry collaboration remain secure, reliable and fit for purpose. You will play an important role in ensuring technology services are resilient and responsive to business needs while identifying opportunities to improve performance, strengthen cyber security and support business continuity. Working closely with internal stakeholders, technology partners and service providers, you will solve complex problems and deliver technology solutions that make a real difference across both corporate and advanced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in advanced manufacturing IT operations or a similarly complex operational environment, with a strong understanding of how IT and operational technology (OT) work together to support business and operational outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting integrated IT, OT and AV environments, with the technical knowledge to manage infrastructure, networks, applications and end-user technology services.
  • Proven ability to lead the resolution of complex incidents, problems and technology issues, minimising disruption and maintaining reliable business operations.
  • Experience managing technology services and working with vendors and managed service providers to deliver agreed service levels, resolve issues and achieve quality outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security, technology risk and compliance, with the ability to identify risks and implement practical improvements that strengthen the security and resilience of technology environments.
  • A proactive and analytical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement, with the ability to assess complex issues, develop practical solutions and identify opportunities to improve technology services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities and provide clear, customer-focused technical advice.
