Supervisor, Natural Areas & Open Spaces

• Permanent ongoing, full-time (38 hours per week) opportunity,
• Office location based in Blue Mountains Botanic Garden – Mount Tomah
• Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $99,225 to $109,166 + super

Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering high-quality services and outcomes across a complex operational environment. This role is focused on providing strong leadership, building team capability and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with organisational objectives. You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders, balancing competing priorities while supporting the successful delivery of key programs and services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused leader who enjoys bringing teams together, navigating complex situations and creating a positive, high-performing culture. While an understanding of the operational environment is important, your ability to lead, influence and support others will be critical to your success.

• →A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams, creating a positive culture built on trust, collaboration and accountability.
• →Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to manage challenging conversations, resolve issues and build productive working relationships.
• →Sound judgement and resilience, with the ability to navigate complex situations, manage competing priorities and support teams through change and high-pressure environments.
• →A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a focus on delivering outcomes, supporting others and fostering a safe and inclusive workplace.
• →Experience in operational, technical or service delivery environments will be highly regarded, however outstanding leadership capability is the key requirement for success in this role.

• Degree or Certificate in Horticulture or Conservation and Land Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Current driver's licence with the ability to operate manual vehicles.
