Positioning Expert

Cyclomedia develops, builds, and operates the world's most advanced mobile mapping systems. With a combination of sensors ranging from cameras & Lidar scanners to state-of-the-art positioning systems, we map dense urban areas in Western Europe and North America. The petabytes of data (all processed and stored in the Microsoft Azure cloud) that we collect every year are used by “professional users”, ranging from city governments to large corporates working in utilities, infrastructure, and insurance. 

• Supervising the automatic position processing for all projects

• Solving failed projects

• Sharing knowledge on our positioning specifications

• Communicating with Project Managers on positioning progress and potential problems

• Communicating with reference data providers if needed

• Performing the role of end-user for positioning processing tooling, to review and suggest improvements

• MBO/HBO in geodesy/geomatics

• 2+ years ‘experience in a similar role

• Solid background in measurement statistics

• Working understanding of Global Satellite Navigation Systems

• Working understanding of coordinate systems and reference data

• inertial measurement technology and/or LiDAR

• Excellent Dutch and English languages skills

• Flexibility
