We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Easton, PA. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from loading/unloading containers, emptying and washing our containers, weighing and checking in our containers.

  • Lifting 55lbs and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
  • Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
  • Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
  • Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
  • Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
  • Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
  • Working well with a team! 
  • Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
  • Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
  • Willingness to take a 7 year background check
  • Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
  • Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
  • Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
  • Proven longevity with employers
  • Can-do attitude!!
  •        Job stability – as an essential service to healthcare we are non-seasonal and recession proof.
  •        Opportunities for overtime
  •        Consistent work hours- Monday to Friday 3rd Shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
  •        Benefits – Full time roles are provided benefits, sick leave and vacation leave from day one!
  •        Permanent position – This is a Full-time permanent role of 40 hours per week
  •        Competitive salary – This position is offering a set rate (non-Negotiable) of $22.00 per hour!
