Coordinator, Work Integrated Learning

• Burwood or Waurn Ponds Campus + hybrid work arrangements
• Part-time (0.4 FTE, 2 days per week), fixed term until 10 September 2027
• HEW 7 $110,171 - $121,309 (pro-rata) + 17% Superannuation

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences and employability initiatives that create meaningful outcomes for students.

As the Coordinator, Work Integrated Learning, you will coordinate and implement a range of WIL programs and graduate employment activities, including internships, placements, career mentoring and career events for students. Working closely with students, industry partners and academics, you will help establish and maintain sustainable partnerships that provide valuable real-world learning opportunities while ensuring programs are delivered effectively and in line with University requirements.

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, improving processes and finding practical solutions to complex challenges. You'll work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and contribute to initiatives that enhance the student experience and strengthen industry engagement.

• Coordinate and deliver Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placement programs, and employability initiatives that enhance student outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry, community and academics to sustain and expand student opportunities.
• Provide advice and practical solutions on WIL matters, ensuring activities are delivered effectively and in line with university policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance processes, systems and the student and staff experience.
• Manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and coordinate activities to ensure high-quality service delivery and successful program outcomes.

You will bring:

• A degree with substantial subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and expertise.
• Experience within a university environment or working with organisations that host and support student placements, internships or work-based learning opportunities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships across diverse internal and external networks.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a solutions-focused approach to addressing challenges.
• Experience identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing enhancements to processes, systems or service delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide advice, influence stakeholders and navigate complex situations effectively.
