About the Role
~1 min readThis is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the success of the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences within one of Australia's leading universities.
As the School Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative support and services to academic and professional staff across 2 campuses, helping to ensure the smooth operation of teaching, research and engagement activities across the School. Working as part of a collaborative administrative support team, you will coordinate a range of processes and services, provide advice to stakeholders, and contribute to the delivery of efficient, consistent and customer-focused support.
You will work closely with academic staff, professional staff and students, while building productive relationships across the University to support school priorities and operational outcomes.
- Provide high-quality administrative advice and support to academic and professional staff across a range of school activities including engagement events, committee support, academic and operational administrative activities.
- Coordinate and deliver administrative processes in accordance with University policies, procedures and service standards.
- Build strong relationships with staff, students and stakeholders, delivering responsive and customer-focused support.
- Manage competing priorities, resolve issues and contribute to the successful delivery of operational outcomes.
- Identify and implement improvements to processes, systems and practices that enhance efficiency and service delivery.

You will bring:
- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent administrative experience in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience providing high-quality administrative support and coordinating multiple activities and priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships.
- Well-developed organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
