With a turnover of around €4M, Decathlon Korinthos might feel like the size of a large department in a big store in Athens and not really an evolution path. But make no mistake: the job is completely different. Here, you won't have a Store Leader next to you to validate your everyday choices or catch you if you stumble. You are the ultimate decision-maker. This is a true 360° management role where you will drive your own steering, sharpen your business acumen, and build complete operational independence.

Because we view this role as a career accelerator, this is a short-to-medium-term mission (1 to 2 years) and a step to later take over a large-scale flagship store or transition into strategic country-level services.

However, to support our thriving Corinth store through an upcoming leadership transition, we are exceptionally opening our doors to an experienced external leader.

If you are a seasoned Store Director / Store Manager who shares our passion for people, sport, and performance, this is a unique opportunity to lead one of our key locations.

To ensure your success, you will not be thrown into the deep end. You will step into a highly structured, intensive 6-month onboarding and training program working side-by-side with our current Store Leader until their departure. Your official handover and full takeover of the store keys will be on January 30th.

• Absorb & Adapt (First 6 Months): Deep dive into our unique company culture, operational tools, and values through a hands-on, intensive training period.

• Lead the Transition: Ensure a seamless leadership handover, maintaining stability and trust among the existing team.

• Drive Performance: Keep the Corinth store on its high-performing track by executing commercial strategies and optimizing day-to-day operations.

• Develop the Team: Coach, support, and empower your store team to help them reach their full potential.

• Sport Enthusiast: You live and breathe the values of sport—team spirit, challenge, and responsibility.

• Proven Experience: You have a solid track record as a Store Director, Store Manager, or Retail Leader with strong business acumen.

• People-First Mentality: You are an inspiring manager who excels at team development and maintaining high engagement.

• Managerial Courage & Independence: As Korinthos is located away from the Athens HQ and the core of Decathlon Greece, you must be capable of standing firmly on your own feet, making bold decisions, and managing operational hurdles solo.
