The Associate, Programmatic is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution, optimization, and performance of programmatic media campaigns for one of DEPT®'s largest enterprise clients. Working closely with Managers, Associate Directors, Directors, and cross-functional partners, this role helps ensure campaigns are activated accurately, monitored effectively, and optimized against client goals.
This role is designed for an early-career marketer who is eager to learn the fundamentals of programmatic media, campaign performance management, and data-driven decision making. The Associate, Programmatic will develop hands-on experience across campaign activation, reporting, analysis, testing, and optimization while contributing to the success of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team.
Responsibilities

- →Support the activation, monitoring, optimization, and ongoing management of programmatic campaigns.
- →Assist with campaign pacing, budget tracking, and performance monitoring to ensure campaigns are delivering against objectives.
- →Pull, organize, and analyze campaign performance data to support reporting, optimization efforts, and strategic recommendations.
- →Conduct placement and site list reviews to identify inventory trends, optimization opportunities, and potential quality concerns.
- →Support testing initiatives by tracking results, documenting learnings, and helping identify opportunities for continued improvement.
- →Assist with campaign quality assurance by reviewing settings, budgets, audiences, creative assets, and platform configurations for accuracy.
- →Partner with Managers and Associate Directors to develop performance insights, optimization recommendations, and campaign updates.
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrated Media Strategy & Planning, Ad Operations, Data Science & Analytics, Project Management, and other media craft teams to support seamless campaign execution.
- →Leverage automation, AI-enabled tools, and process improvements to improve efficiency, accelerate learning, and support campaign management workflows.
- →Participate actively in team meetings, training opportunities, and ongoing development initiatives to expand programmatic expertise.
- →Embody DEPT®'s values while contributing to a collaborative, curious, and solutions-oriented team environment.
- 6–12 months of experience in marketing, advertising, analytics, business operations, or a related field. Prior experience in media is a plus.
- Strong interest in digital advertising, media, and performance measurement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Analytical curiosity and an eagerness to understand the "why" behind campaign performance.
- Comfort working with data and spreadsheets, including basic Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to ask questions, learn, and collaborate.
- A proactive "get sh*t done" mindset and a willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

- A naturally curious mindset with an eagerness to learn new platforms, technologies, and ways of working.
- Interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with a willingness to explore how they can improve efficiency and effectiveness within media workflows.
You will have to communicate with your team members abroad, therefore fluency in English and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must for this role.
