DEPT® is a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, our 4,000+ specialists deliver growth invention services across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data. We’re 50|50 tech and marketing, partner-led, and first to move. Clients include Google, Lufthansa, Meta, eBay, and OpenAI. We have been certified B Corp and Climate Neutral since 2021.
This role sits within our Content & Communications Strategy practice in the Netherlands. We’re the layer that turns brand and business ambitions into a working operating system for content: channel roles, content architecture, audience logic, and measurement. We decide what a brand should say, where, to whom, and why, and connect it all so every channel pulls in the same direction.
Looking to kick off your career as a strategist who shapes how brands communicate? During this internship you’ll join our talent program designed to shape you into a next-level content and communications strategist. We’ll give you all the attention, feedback, GIFs, and high fives you need to grow into a standout professional. Our goal? To help you reach your full potential.
A content and communications strategist works at the level above individual content, defining the roles channels play, how content is structured across the journey, which audiences we’re speaking to, and how we measure whether it’s working. You’ll dive into audience and category research, help build content frameworks and messaging, contribute to always-on and campaign strategy, and translate thinking into clear, usable outputs for clients.
From day one, you’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor for 1-on-1 coaching and join a team of passionate strategists always ready to help. Our hands-on workshops will sharpen your skills even further.
By the end of your internship, you’ll have gained real experience and worked on projects for A-list clients. Take it from us, your resume will be more than ready for a future in content and communications strategy.
Note: to be eligible for this internship, you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands and be fluent in Dutch.
