Where you come in:
* You will use schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts, or defined plans to conduct testing, checkout, and troubleshooting tasks.
* You assess the performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
* You operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
* You analyze and document test results, preparing written reports.
* You conduct operational tests and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
* You perform equipment-related activities under the supervision of the project engineer, including the assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures, processes, and electronics, as well as completing engineering studies and validations.
* You adhere to Dexcom’s Safety and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) program.
* You assume and perform additional duties as assigned.
* You complete all tasks with the necessary safety precautions.
* You update equipment-related documentation (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed.
* You are proficient in using hand and power tools, multimeters, amp meters, manufacturing test equipment, and calipers.
What makes you successful:
* You have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications.
* You can write routine reports, pass downs, and correspondence.
* You effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers, and managers.
* You possess knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes.
* You have technical writing skills applied to manufacturing documentation and process development, with experience in crafting and revising user documentation.

Experience and Education Requirements:
* Requires a minimum of 2-4years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent
