Our portfolio includes the Sentimag probe, used to detect our Magtrace lymphatic tracer for accurate breast cancer staging, and the Magseed marker for precise tissue localisation. 

Endomag, a Hologic Company, is now looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to join our UK team, supporting the territory of the Southwest of England, South Wales & West Midlands. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales organisation and healthcare professionals to support the successful adoption of Endomag technologies in hospitals across the UK. Acting as a clinical expert and trusted partner to customers, you will provide product demonstrations, clinical support and training to ensure our technologies are used effectively within the breast cancer treatment pathway. 

  • Support the Endomag Sales team by delivering high‑quality product demonstrations, installations and clinical training to healthcare professionals across the UK.
  • Develop in‑depth expertise in Endomag technologies and their role within the breast cancer diagnostic and treatment pathway.
  • Provide clinical education and technical guidance to surgeons, theatre teams and other healthcare professionals, both in person and through virtual platforms.
  • Attend surgical procedures across multiple hospital sites to support clinicians and ensure the safe and effective use of Endomag technologies.
  • Lead new customer onboarding, training and product evaluations, capturing feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers before and after training to ensure successful adoption and optimal use of Endomag solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong, long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals to support ongoing customer success and partnership.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for business growth and increased product utilisation within the market.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to support commercial initiatives, including validating and progressing new leads.
  • Represent Endomag at educational events, conferences and trade shows to increase awareness of our technologies and generate new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Interest in or previous experience within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Ability to quickly understand, interpret and communicate complex technical or clinical information, including academic literature.
  • Experience working within an operating room or theatre environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and training skills, with the ability to effectively deliver education to individuals, small groups and larger audiences.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory, approximately 70%.
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential.
