[MY] Executive, Finance (6-12 months Contract)

About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Executive to provide accounting and finance support to the company.

The ideal candidate will have a mindset of continuous improvement and change and will demonstrate curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity especially in a start-up environment. You are passionate about learning new processes, keen to interact with multiple stakeholders, and take ownership for work delivered.

This role is based in Malaysia and reports directly to Manager, Finance.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payables duties
• Collate data for regular (monthly etc) billing to insurer/corporate customer 
• Prepare payment to suppliers/providers/members regular according 
• Liaise and follow up with customers/insurer and suppliers/providers for any discrepancies in receipts and payment
• Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders on daily operation and ensure that processes are performed according to the latest information
• Identify, discuss and suggest solutions for improvement 
• Any other adhoc duties assigned when appropriate.

About you 

• Available Immediately and able to commit during the 6-month to 12 months contractual period

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree or other accounting qualification 
• Required language(s): Bilingual (Must include English)
• Required skills: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Oracle NetSuite (Finance)
• Meticulous, independent, proactive, responsible, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Unquestioned integrity and high standards in the work you do
• Comfortable with ambiguity - we're a fast-growing business and there's always unchartered territories, which is part of the fun. You should be comfortable with it and understand that not everything is 100% defined all the time.
