[MY] Manager/ Senior Manager, Provider Network Management

About the team
Health Assurance Organisation (HAO) brings DA's care delivery and insurance-linked services together under one operating model. Patient care coordination, provider network management, and shared commercial functions all work off the same data and the same goals, instead of running as separate, disconnected teams. This role sits alongside the teams responsible for care advocacy, provider operations, and commercial marketing. Between them, they're responsible for making sure the provider network itself is strategically managed, not just administratively maintained.

 About the role
We're looking for a Manager/Senior Manager, Provider Network Management to lead this function across our markets. You'll own the network strategy — which supply-side partners we work with, on what terms, and why — and negotiate directly with them.   Scope covers panel clinics and healthcare facilities (hospitals, day surgery centres) as the primary focus, alongside ancillary and allied health services — home care, health screening, imaging, medical transportation, and similar — and any other supply-side partners within the network.  

This is a strategy and negotiation role. Provider Operations handles the day-to-day execution and data tracking; you use what they build to negotiate better deals and make better calls on the network. We're looking for someone who's good at reading data and even better at using it in a negotiation, and who's comfortable setting direction rather than just following process.  

This role is Regional and reports to the GM, Care Experience.  

 
A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows :

• Set the provider network strategy across our markets — which partners we work with, where the gaps are, and what to prioritize, spanning clinics, facilities, ancillary and allied health services, and other supply-side partners
• Lead commercial negotiations and contracting across the network, with primary focus on panel clinics and facility partners
• Set the standards for medical approval, audits, and fraud/waste/abuse checks — Provider Operations runs these day to day, you own the policy
• Use claims and panel data to spot risk, find leverage, and inform negotiations
• Work closely with Provider Operations so they're tracking the right things to support your negotiations
• Build and manage a team to support network strategy and negotiation
• Other duties as needed

  About you

• 10–12 years of experience, at least 5 of them in provider network management, commercial negotiation, Third Party Administration, or insurance
• Has managed people before
• Strong negotiator — comfortable owning outcomes, not just running process
• Communicates well across internal teams and external partners like clinics, facilities, and other supply-side partners
• Startup or hyper-growth experience is a plus
• High integrity, high standards
• Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
