Role Overview
The Senior HR Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle for our UK team, with a particular focus on talent acquisition and recruitment across the UK and international markets. Working closely with UK leadership, the Operating Committee, and operational heads, this role will help drive hiring efforts, support day-to-day people matters, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm.
The role offers broad exposure across talent acquisition, employee relations, HR operations, immigration, and talent development, alongside opportunities to support employee experience initiatives and contribute to the firm’s continued international growth.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for UK hiring across multiple levels. Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership on role scoping, process design, and candidate evaluation.
- Drive sourcing efforts across the UK and international markets. Build strong candidate pipelines across key talent pools, particularly graduate, campus, and early career hiring.
- Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies.
- Screen candidates, coordinate interview processes, and ensure a high-quality and consistent candidate experience.
- Support hiring across international offices, including future locations in EMEA and APAC. Adapt hiring approaches to local market dynamics.
- Track recruitment activity, market feedback, and hiring trends to inform sourcing, workforce planning, and hiring decisions.
Talent Development
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify learning and development needs, and coordinate, design, and implement training and capability-building initiatives across the firm.
- Support annual talent processes, including performance reviews, talent discussions, and compensation cycles.
- Partner with stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of development initiatives and gather feedback to inform future training and talent priorities.
HR Operations
- Support onboarding and induction for new joiners. Deliver a high-quality and consistent onboarding experience across offices.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and employee queries related to pay and benefits for the UK population.
- Support UK immigration and global mobility activity, including sponsor licence administration, visa coordination, and international relocations.
- Maintain UK HR policies, contracts, and employee documentation, and support updates in line with legislative change.
- Support the people-related aspects of new office launches, including local employment frameworks, onboarding, and HR processes.
Employee Relations & People Advisory
- Partner with UK leadership on day-to-day employee matters and provide practical, commercially minded HR support.
- Support UK employee relations matters. Escalate to senior leadership and external counsel where appropriate.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive HR generalist experience in the UK, ideally in a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience running recruitment end-to-end across multiple levels.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience with learning and development, including identifying training needs and supporting the design and delivery of development programs and initiatives.
- Exposure to international hiring or supporting employees across multiple jurisdictions strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of UK immigration, including sponsor licence administration and Skilled Worker visas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders, employees, and external partners.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Proactive, resourceful, and commercially minded, with the judgment to balance employee advocacy with business priorities.
