Collaborating with operations and trading teams to ensure production systems are in optimal condition.
Researching the latest technologies to enhance our trading systems.
Driving projects and leading new initiatives
Actively engaging with others on the development team to resolve challenging design and coding issues
Working with complex real-time market data while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Partnering with traders to explain technical challenges, trade-offs, and potential solutions, enabling informed decision-making.

A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
2 to 10 years of experience building software systems
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
Strong knowledge and experience in Python or C++. Experience in both is an asset.
Passion for financial markets and an interest in global events and how they influence market behaviour.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality and correctness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with any of these technologies is an asset: Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, Kafka, MongoDB, ELK, Docker, TCP, HTTP, Regex.
Experience with relational databases is an asset
