Are you proactive, well organized, and able to continuously adapt while maintaining a positive work attitude in a dynamic, intercultural organization? The Global Commercial Director HNC (Health Nutrition and Care) develops the global commercial framework and leads the implementation and governance of commercial (pricing) strategies for the HNC portfolio, including vitamins, lipids, and HMO products.
Within dsm-firmenich’s Global Commercial team, you will operate at the center of a highly strategic, global setup: defining pricing and volume strategies for a diverse nutrition portfolio while partnering closely with regional commercial teams and key functions such as supply chain, finance, and operations. In this non-routine and fast-evolving role, you will continuously adjust strategies based on market dynamics, supply scenarios, and competitive insights, requiring strong commercial judgment and the ability to influence across stakeholders. This position offers exceptional visibility and ownership, with a direct impact on top- and bottom-line performance and the opportunity to shape global commercial direction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define and execute global pricing strategies to maximize HNC performance, aligning with commercial priorities, market dynamics, and portfolio insights.
• Optimize sales and profitability across the portfolio by balancing market opportunities with internal supply-demand constraints.
• Partner with regional commercial teams to drive value creation, set priorities, and manage allocations and strategic trade-offs.
• Leverage advanced analytics and AI tools to enable dynamic pricing and generate actionable market and competitor insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Business Development, Supply Chain) to drive growth, strengthen customer centricity, and deliver innovation-led solutions.
• Drive planning and decision-making processes (IBP/S&OP) and provide clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership.

YOU BRING
• Strong educational background (e.g., Chemistry, Food Technology, or Business) and proficiency in key systems (e.g., SAP, BW, MS Office).
• Min. 10 years of experience in commercial and/or sales roles in ideally in nutrition, ingredients, or pharma industries, ideally managing complex or diverse product portfolios are must.
• Solid insight into product portfolios, supply chain, and competitive positioning.
• Proven commercial leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to align and orchestrate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with deep understanding of pricing, market dynamics, and price/volume drivers in competitive environments.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence, combined with a highly self-driven, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland.
• Fluent English.
