Job Title: Senior Supervisor, Application Lab, B&C, P&B City, Country: Shanghai, China Join our application laboratory team and help create innovative cosmetic formulations for customers across Greater China. You will combine scientific expertise, hands-on formulation work, and customer collaboration across skincare, sun care, hair care, and rinse-off applications. You will also guide laboratory operations and coordinate customer documentation activities with regional and global colleagues. This is an opportunity to shape practical solutions that respond to evolving customer and market needs. Your key responsibilities * Provide formulation and application support for customer requests involving cosmetic ingredients, including actives, vitamins, ultraviolet filters, and hair-conditioning products. * Develop guide formulations, innovative concepts, and tailored customer solutions, particularly for skincare, sun care, and rinse-off applications. * Visit customers and distributors to provide targeted technical support, product demonstrations, and formulation training. * Manage daily laboratory activities, including equipment planning, consumable purchasing, safety practices, and secure laboratory operations. * Coordinate documentation requests and projects with global and regional experts, Product Managers, Regulatory Managers, and other internal partners. * Prepare and distribute customer change notifications while organizing documentation to support efficient and reliable service. You Bring * Practical knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, raw materials, and their use in market-relevant formulations. * Experience developing consumer product formulations, particularly for skincare and rinse-off applications. * Three to five years of experience in cosmetic formulation, application development, or a related technical field. * Curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for hands-on experimental work in a laboratory environment. * Effective planning, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and functions. * Good written and spoken English, together with flexibility and resilience in a changing environment.
