As a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain, improve, and support DTB's Bohemia, NY facilities. The position will cover two large buildings and 31 acres of property. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys variety, and is willing to assist with a broad range of facility maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support day-to-day maintenance, repair, renovation, and improvement of DTB's facilities and grounds
• Build new offices and renovate existing areas throughout the facility
• Support general corporate maintenance activities across two large buildings and 31 acres of property
• Assist with HVAC-related maintenance and repairs
• Assist with rebuilding motors and replacing mechanical seals and pumps
• Assist with electrical work, including EMT and PVC conduit installation
• Perform basic plumbing and other facility maintenance tasks as needed
• Safely use common hand and power tools, company equipment, and facility maintenance equipment
• Operate company equipment to plow and clear snow, including snow blowers
• Prioritize multiple maintenance requests and complete additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Min. of a High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
• 3+ years of experience in carpentry, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related skilled trade
• Strong carpentry skills, including construction, repair, renovation, and installation
• Experience with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools and facility maintenance equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Professional, positive attitude and ability to work effectively with coworkers
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and respond to facility needs
• Ability to physically lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors and operate snow-removal equipment as needed
• Willingness to perform other facilities and maintenance duties as assigned
• US citizenship required
