Hiring – Lead, Financial Advisory Location: Abuja Our client is an Integrated Financial Services group that provides individuals and institutions with a range of financial products and services in Asset Management, Investment Banking, and Securities Trading tailored to meet the diverse needs and expectations of investors. Their component companies are licensed and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The Company is seeking to hire a Lead, Financial Advisory, who will lead the financial advisory business within the company, serving as a key advisor to clients on the feasibility, structuring, and implementation of high-profile corporate finance, infrastructure, and development projects. You will be responsible for originating and executing complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, project finance, and corporate restructuring. Key Responsibilities: Originate and structure large, complex financial transactions. Lead negotiations with counterparties, providing strategic advice on structuring, pricing, and risk-sharing. Oversee the drafting and review of term sheets, letters of intent, shareholder agreements, and other deal documentation. Lead in-depth market research, sectoral analysis, and policy reviews to guide client investment decisions. Provide strategic advice on structuring infrastructure, energy, real estate, and development finance projects. Oversee comprehensive feasibility studies, including technical, economic, and financial assessments. Present complex financial and strategic analyses to clients, boards, and investors in a clear and compelling manner. Supervise preparation of project deliverables including strategic reports, action plans, and client presentations. Supervise the development of advanced financial models to evaluate transactions and projects. Ensure robustness and accuracy of financial and valuation analyses (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, NAV, LBO, etc.). Provide thought leadership on sector and industry trends, capital markets dynamics, and financial performance benchmarks. Lead the origination and execution of M&A, capital raising, debt restructuring, and private equity transactions. Oversee preparation of key client deliverables including transaction models, pitch books, and investment memoranda. Ensure timely execution and maintain the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. Guide the development of robust business cases articulating strategic rationale, project benefits, and financial implications. Identify risks, design mitigation strategies, and present findings to boards, investors, and regulators. Align business cases with industry standards and best practices to support fundraising and approvals. Lead the identification, sourcing, and origination of new business opportunities. Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporates, investors, DFIs, and government agencies. Represent the company in high-level client engagements, conferences, and industry events. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing advisory units. Establish best-in-class execution frameworks, quality standards, and performance metrics. Ensure strict adherence to SEC, NSE, NAICOM, and other relevant regulations. Oversee risk management practices and maintain governance frameworks across transactions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. Master’s degree/MBA from a recognized institution is preferred. Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA or CFA or any equivalent professional qualifications is required. Minimum of 12 years’ progressive experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of originating and executing high-value transactions in M&A, capital markets, and restructuring. Deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring. Strong industry knowledge across key sectors (infrastructure, energy, financial services, real estate, consumer markets, etc.). Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage senior-level client relationships, and deliver high-profile transactions. Benefits N28,000,000 – N30,000,000 Annual Salary
