The field inspector drives around to various jobsites to observe work for quality. Also involves working with customers to ensure understanding of what work is being accomplished.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Must be able to drive a company owned vehicle
- →Knowledge of NESC Standards
- →Able to communicate professionally to the public
- →Must be able to manage several different projects at once
- →Inspect work that was done by Fugal crews in ensure quality
- →Knowledge of Aerial and underground telecom construction principles.
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
- At least two years related experience and/or training
- Aerial or underground utilities
- OSP facilities, construction techniques and conduit records
- Easement, right of way and permit documents
- Routinely: Work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, walk, use keyboard and mouse
- Occasionally: climb stairs and stand
