Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Our high-performance radars work in all weather and are designed for autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft & drones, and security of borders, critical infrastructure, and smart cities. Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).

• →Serve as the technical lead for system integration, test, and verification of radar products, including system bring-up, debugging, and performance
• →Work with internal operations and customer-facing teams on rapid issue resolution
• →Define and own the system-level verification strategy, requirements coverage, execution traceability, and verification reporting
• →Architect scalable test frameworks, automation, and tooling to enable repeatable, verification-first system testing
• →Identify integration risks early and drive mitigation strategies
• →Support regulatory and compliance testing

• Strong systems mindset with hands-on experience in:
• Embedded Linux systems with Digital Signal Processing and high-speed networking
• Scripting (e.g., Python, PERL, similar)
• Test automation and data analysis (e.g., MatLab)
• Debugging at hardware and software boundaries (e.g., GDB, Wireshark, etc.)
• Experience leading system-level integration across hardware and software
• Experience leveraging modern developer productivity tools (e.g., AI-assisted coding, test generation, data analysis, or debugging workflows
• Experience defining verification strategies and test architectures for production systems
• Exemplary technical communication skills demonstrated from internal and external customer engagements

• Experience with radar, RF sensing, signal processing, or advanced sensor systems
• Background in defense, aerospace, or safety-critical systems
• Familiarity with environmental, EMI/EMC, or system qualification testing
• Experience supporting customer acceptance or operational testing

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in systems integration, test, and verification of complex embedded systems
