Childcare Provider (DL)

What You’ll DO:

• Support the Edge Kids mission and follow all policies.
• Greet and check in children and parents.
• Lead fun, age-appropriate games and activities.
• Create a safe, positive, and energetic environment.
• Work with children ages 12 weeks–12 years.
• Keep the Kids room clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Support fellow Edge team members.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

What You’ll NEED:

• Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends.
• Passion for working with kids.
• Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent class and activity management skills.
• Willingness to learn, train, and grow.

Education & Experience:

• Previous experience working with children required.
• Experience in exercise science and/or fitness desired 
• CPR, First Aid, and EpiPen certifications are a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, balancing
• Aerobic activity  
• Sustained physical exertion
• High energy   
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Work Environment:

This job operates in child care environment in a health club and occasion office work is necessary.  The position will interact with children, Edge coaches and supervisors and members on a daily.

Travel:

There is very little travel in this position. The employee may be asked to travel local infrequently to other clubs or to corporate for meetings.

Position type & expected hours of work:

• Part-time, non-exempt position.
• Flexible/varied schedule based on business needs.
• Some evenings, weekends, and split shifts required.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Supervisor of the room.
