PROTÉGÉ Graduate Trainee, HSSEQ (Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur)

UEM Edgenta Berhad is dedicated to nurturing young talents through our Graduate Trainee Program (GeT). This program is designed to empower graduates with essential skills and hands-on experience to excel in the working landscape. Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead.

• →Assist in the development and enhancement of Contractor Program Management processes and online systems.
• →Analyse data related to Contractor Management, including contractor performance, consequence management, and contractor capabilities.
• →Support the planning and execution of Contractor Program Management events and engagements (e.g. contractor roadshows, Safety Day, contractor development coaching/training, forums).
• →Assist in Contractor Management improvement initiatives and projects (e.g. ProSafe, HSSE Scoreboard).
• →Provide support in HSSE technical matters, including contractor HSSE documentation and Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) management systems.

• Bachelor’s Degree in HSSE, Engineering, or a related field.
• Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
• Basic knowledge of research and data analysis; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Exposure to ISO standards or productivity tools (e.g. Canva, NotebookLM) is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong teamwork, basic problem-solving skills, and ability to plan and execute tasks effectively.
