IT System Administrator needed in an Education group in Hyderabad. Joining - Immediate, Work Location - HiTech City. Principal Accountabilities · Lead the operational support of our India office and schools across India, including resolving service desk escalations and directing IT technicians Liaise with the schools to facilitate resolution of operational problems and change requests and provide appropriate training and technical support. Support adoption of central and regional projects in India HQ & work with IT managers in schools Take ownership of incidents, ensuring appropriate priorities are set, required resources are engaged and regular communication is in place. Lead root-cause troubleshooting efforts to address underlying problems and minimize recurrence. Manage the support incident queue to ensure timely resolution of escalated incidents. Provide clear impact assessment and follow up actions for incidents using knowledge of operational processes captured through regular meetings with the schools. Manage IP address management for India region Responsible to maintain IT asset register in HQ Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes Responsible to manage Software licenses, domain name and provide recommendations of cost-effective initiatives in Software License Management (SAM) process. Qualifications – Degree qualified and/or relevant professional qualification and experience (e.g. degree in computer systems, infrastructure or related field) Experience – Typically at least 4+ years of operational management experience, in roles that require involvement and understanding of ITIL based service delivery. Aware of industry and professional standards. Experienced in the creation and deployment of policies and standard operating procedures. Managed a team of service desk operatives. Skills – Understands service desk operations and tools such as ServiceNow. Managing servers (windows & Linux) - Patching, backup etc., · Designing and maintaining LAN & WAN devices such as Routers, Switches, VLAN and IP address management M365 administration Active Directory & Azure AD Experienced in the creation and deployment of policies and standard operating procedures. Trained in computer software and hardware support, including servers and systems. Vendor Liaison & management SQL Server Maintenance Looking for Local candidates from Hyderabad.
