Graphic Design Artist III

• →Design compelling and accessible visual content that supports Albert Einstein College of Medicine
• →Create print and digital products and materials as directed by Director of Creative Services and Project Manager, including but not limited to: brochures, postcards, invitations, reports, digital signage, social media assets, infographics, presentations, proposals, and posters.
• →Execute art direction as provided by Director and Lead Graphic Designers
• →Iterate designs based on feedback from clients and colleagues
• →Ensure materials reflect appropriate brand identity
• →Act as responsible party for assigned jobs, ensuring timely delivery of final product
• →Manage multiple time-sensitive assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and production requirements
• →Professionally and collegially work and communicate with clients and colleagues
• →Prepare final files for both digital and print production
• →Coordinate effectively with print vendors to execute final deliverables
• →Accurately and effectively track time in timekeeping system

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field with at least 2 years experience as a graphic designer with print and digital design experience; 
• Appropriate combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
• Strong knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and awareness of current trends in graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to work on Mac platform
• Familiarity with Canva and Dropbox
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Highly collaborative and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
