UDRI is ranked first in the nation among all colleges and universities for sponsored materials research, according to the National Science Foundation. Join our team today as a Sustainment Engineer. This position is located at the Advanced Technology and Training Center – Middle Georgia (ATTC-MG), in Warner Robins, Georgia. The ATTC-MG helps the US Air Force solve aircraft and support equipment sustainability challenges through the use of advanced manufacturing and repair technologies. Under the leadership of a senior engineer, this role will: - Support product flow through the required manufacturing processes, to include but not limited to, 3D printing, heat treatment, CNC machining, outside vendor services and inspection |

| Minimum Qualifications: |
- BS in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing Materials, Welding, Corrosion, or Chemical engineering or engineering technology or related engineering/engineering technology field) |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: - Experience performing metal heat treatment operations (e.g. stress relief, solution treatment, aging/precipitation hardening) |
