We’re seeking a Project Lead to join our Quality Field Services team and support the delivery of projects.

This is an entry-level opportunity with significant room to grow. You will support a project delivering fibre builds to rural communities across BC, working across pole loading analysis, quality reporting, project reporting, field support and rural pole-line data collection

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring work is delivered accurately and in line with established procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Field Support: Provide support to field activities and accompany field visits or travel for projects when required.
  • Rural Pole-Line Data Collection: Support rural pole-line data collection activities for fibre infrastructure projects.
  • Change Tracking: Maintain change tracking and help ensure project information is kept accurate and up to date.
  • Process Improvement: Follow established procedures, contribute to improvements and help add to processes as the team continues to develop its ways of working.
  • Digital Tools: Support the adoption of modern digital tools that improve field and project workflows.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will be:

  • Building an understanding of telecom fundamentals
  • Supporting a project independently as part of normal day-to-day delivery
  • Following established procedures accurately and consistently
  • Managing change tracking effectively
  • Contributing to quality and project reporting
  • Supporting field activities and rural pole-line data collection when required
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and add to existing procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Experience supporting field work or working in a utility, municipal or related environment would be highly valued.
  • Project Delivery: Experience supporting or delivering projects, with responsibility for quality.
  • Quality Focus: Comfortable working with quality-related processes, reporting and established procedures.
  • Software Skills: Strong proficiency with spreadsheets is essential. Basic coding capability is also required.
  • Digital Data: Experience with digital field-data collection, point-cloud collection or point-cloud quality control would be an asset.
  • Travel: Comfortable accompanying field visits and travelling for projects when requested

What's In It for YOU?

We know that when you grow, we grow. That’s why we offer more than just a job, we offer a launchpad for your career:

  • Meaningful work: Support fibre infrastructure projects that help connect rural communities across British Columbia.
  • Career growth: Step into an entry-level role with significant room to grow within Quality Field Services.
