ENSCO provides technical subject matter experts to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Duties will include:
• Independently develop and manage instrumentation plans and methodologies to support testing
• Conduct research, development, and integration efforts to maintain currency in state-of-the-art and emerging data acquisition systems and sensor technologies across the testing spectrum
• Develop and implement rigorous processes to ensure new sensor and data acquisition technologies are properly investigated and validated
• Develop test plans and methodologies to perform validation and verification testing of existing and emerging measurement diagnostic technologies and systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to distill information and prepare written contributions
Requirements

• Experience developing, managing, and implementing instrumentation plans and methodologies to meet measurement objectives in support of DTRA testing.
• Experience conducting research, development, and integration efforts involving state-of-the-art and emerging/developmental data acquisition systems and sensor technologies across the CWMD testing spectrum.
• Experience supporting efforts to improve instrumentation effectiveness and address gaps in testing capabilities through evaluation and integration of new technologies.
• Experience developing or implementing processes to investigate and validate new sensor and data acquisition technologies prior to introduction into operational use or inventory.
• Experience developing test plans and methodologies to perform validation and verification testing of existing and emerging measurement diagnostic technologies and systems.
• Ability to support test teams and projects in a technical instrumentation role and travel as required to support testing at Nevada National Security Site, NV and White Sands Missile Range, NM.
• Work location: On-site at RD-TS facilities on Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM, with local and CONUS travel as required to support DTRA testing.
• Must have a current Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance for which you must be a U.S. citizen.
• Direct experience supporting DTRA RD-TS, CWMD, WMD defeat, weapons effects, or DoD RDT&E test programs.
• Experience supporting high explosive testing, instrumentation development, or measurement diagnostics in field-test or laboratory environments.
• Experience with emerging or developmental data acquisition systems, sensor technologies, or instrumentation systems used in test and evaluation operations.
• Experience supporting validation and verification of instrumentation systems, diagnostic technologies, or measurement methodologies.
• Experience supporting field-test operations at government test ranges, laboratories, underground test environments, or hazardous field-test locations.
• Experience preparing technical reports, instrumentation documentation, test procedures, validation plans, or customer-facing technical deliverables.
• Experience coordinating with government, contractor, and matrixed test teams in support of instrumentation or test execution activities.
• CURRENT TS/SCI ADJUDICATED FOR A DTRA PROGRAM IS DESIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
