Responsibilities
~1 min read- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Ensemble’s tourism board portfolio.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and onboard new high-value destination partners.
- Evaluate portfolio performance and optimize geographic coverage aligned with member demand.
- Build multi-year commercial partnerships that drive marketing revenue and production growth.
- Own revenue targets across tourism board marketing agreements, event sponsorships, and activation programs.
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable commercial frameworks and marketing investment.
- Develop annual marketing plans with destination partners aligned to production goals and measurable ROI.
- Monitor sales performance data and present insights-driven recommendations to partners.
- Serve as primary relationship lead for tourism board executives and stakeholders.
- Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with destination partners.
- Represent Ensemble at global industry events, trade shows, and partner activations.
- Articulate Ensemble’s value proposition and data insights to strengthen partner confidence and investment.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Events, Analytics, and Product teams to execute destination campaigns and activations.
- Align destination strategy with broader Destination & Specialty and Commercial objectives.
- Ensure seamless internal communication regarding new partnerships, campaign initiatives, and member engagement opportunities.
- Run destination performance reporting and translate data into actionable growth strategies.
- Recommend marketing investments, event participation, and educational initiatives based on production trends.
- Continuously refine activation strategies to improve member adoption and partner ROI.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 7+ years experience in travel industry, destination marketing, or supplier/partner relations.
- Direct experience working with tourism boards or destination marketing organizations strongly preferred.
- Proven success negotiating commercial and marketing agreements.
- Strong financial acumen with experience owning revenue targets.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and present data to senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/reporting tools.
- Thrives in a performance-driven, technology-enabled organization.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
- High ownership mentality with strong accountability.
- Comfortable navigating change and building structure within growth.
We provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Employees have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance. The expected base compensation range for this position is: $100,000 to $130,000.
The actual compensation may vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
