About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Assistant to support our shipping operations 2-3 days a week. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating shipping labels, packaging items, and receiving returns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, efficient, and eager to grow with us, as there may be opportunities for additional responsibilities down the line.
Responsibilities

- →Process and ship orders two days a week, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
- →Create shipping labels and ensure all packages are properly labeled for shipment.
- →Package items securely, maintaining attention to detail in packaging quality.
- →Oversee packaging supplies, including labels, stickers, and shipping materials.
- →Manage shipping tickets for New orders, RMAs, additional devices, and internal device requests in Hubspot.
- →Contact couriers regarding shipping issues, manage non-delivered packages, and process return-to-sender items.
Returns Management:
- →Receive and process returned items, ensuring they are handled appropriately and documented accurately.
- →Communicate with the Shipping & Inventory Manager about any issues related to returned goods.
- →Additional Support (As Needed): Answer sales and CX questions regarding shipping status, non-standard shipping rates, and customs requirements.
- →Assist with maintaining shipping supplies (boxes, tape, labels, etc.).
- →Support additional shipping-related tasks as the team grows and needs evolve
- →Track and maintain device inventory, keeping relevant spreadsheets up to date.
- →Process lost or damaged package claims and perform address/contact research for incomplete shipments.
- →Review and refurbish returned devices, ensuring quality control.
- Prior experience in shipping, packaging, logistics, inventory management or a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with label creation tools and basic shipping processes (training will be provided).
- Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Experience with Hubspot, Slack, spreadsheets for tracking inventory and shipping tickets is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in cross-boarder shipment, Knowledge of import/export requirements by customs and/or couriers would be advantageous, but we’re open to candidates willing to learn.
