About the Role
~2 min read- Own and support client-facing product implementation workstreams, including planning milestones, tracking progress and coordinating day-to-day delivery activity.
- Work directly with clients to understand their operating model, implementation goals, workflow requirements and integration needs.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows and implementation decisions in a clear and structured way.
- Translate client requirements into practical product configuration, integration and delivery requirements for product, engineering and QA teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed data mappings that support integrations between client systems and EquiLend platforms.
- Analyse client trading, post-trade, settlement, collateral, regulatory or books and records workflows to identify dependencies, risks and implementation considerations.
- Partner closely with product teams to confirm expected platform behaviour, clarify roadmap dependencies and ensure client requirements are aligned with product capability.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams so that requirements, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and data validation needs are clearly understood before delivery.
- Support testing and implementation readiness by reviewing test cases, validating outputs, tracking defects and coordinating resolution of issues.
- Maintain clear project tracking, including actions, risks, dependencies, decisions and stakeholder updates.
- Communicate progress, blockers and implementation risks to internal and client stakeholders in a timely and practical way.
- Contribute to Agile delivery ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and stand-ups, using tools such as Jira.
- Support continuous improvement across Professional Services by helping to improve implementation templates, documentation standards and delivery processes.
- 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Implementation Analyst, Professional Services Analyst or similar role supporting client-facing technology implementations.
- Practical experience working on product implementations, client onboarding, platform configuration or systems integration projects.
- Experience working directly with external clients to gather requirements, clarify workflows, manage questions and support successful delivery.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, securities finance, securities lending, post-trade, collateral, settlement, regulatory reporting or related financial services workflows.
- Experience documenting functional requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, implementation decisions and data mapping requirements.
- Working knowledge of complex data integrations, including how data moves between client systems, vendor platforms and internal applications.
- Ability to use SQL to query, investigate and validate data as part of implementation, integration and testing activity.
- Experience partnering with product, engineering and QA teams to clarify requirements, review delivery outputs and resolve implementation issues.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and tools such as Jira for backlog management, story tracking and delivery visibility.
- Strong project tracking skills, with the ability to organise milestones, actions, risks, dependencies and stakeholder updates across multiple workstreams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain requirements and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A practical, client-focused approach to problem solving, with the judgement to raise risks early and keep delivery moving.
