About the Role
~1 min readThe Clinical Product Strategy team is responsible for developing, launching, and driving growth for new clinical products and services. The Director of Clinical Product Strategy is critical to the success of this function, thriving at the intersection of strategy and execution. This role will independently lead and manage all or major components of developing product-line growth strategies, from conducting research and analysis to identify and define opportunities through successful product launches. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and a results-driven approach to achieve business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
Responsibilities

Identify, scope, and size new products or services and/or existing product enhancements that deliver exceptional patient outcomes while optimizing revenue performance and maximizing return on investment.

Conduct in-depth market testing of product concepts with key industry executives.

Synthesize primary research and competitive analyses to identify unmet clinical needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for innovative solutions.

Build and refine financial models that guide prioritization, investment decisions, and long-term business viability of proposed opportunities.

Present new venture opportunities and/or summaries of terrain explorations to Senior Leadership, conveying a market-informed point-of-view.

Collaborate closely with Commercial, Clinical, Care Operations, and Product teams to develop the operating models, infrastructure, and protocols to launch new products that align to market expectations.

Define and oversee the launch plan and associated KPIs for new product launches and existing product enhancements.

Requirements
~1 min readBachelor’s Degree required. Business or Finance major preferred.
8+ years of relevant experience combining strategy work (consulting, corporate strategy) with direct start-up execution/product innovation.
5+ years of healthcare industry experience required; familiarity developing products or services for and/or selling to providers and/or payors is preferred.
Demonstrated success developing growth strategies for organizations, particularly around new business lines, products, or services.
Experience managing and coaching more junior team members while being comfortable working independently and autonomously to achieve results.
Proven ability to synthesize extensive research findings into relevant insights and quickly become a terrain expert.
Familiarity with corporate finance metrics and benchmarks; experience applying analyses to business pro-formas.
Demonstrated ability and comfort conducting research and analysis to make recommendations within quick timelines.
Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, aligning diverse teams toward shared goals while managing expectations and ensuring clear communication.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and crafting messaging that resonates with diverse audiences.
