About this opportunity
We are looking for a Customer Operations Manager to lead one of the most complex and strategic customer operations within Ericsson, supporting a large-scale telecom operator in Mexico. In this role, you will be accountable for the end-to-end operational and financial performance of a high-impact portfolio, including network rollout, modernization, operations, and related programs.
You will act as the primary operational interface with the customer, ensuring delivery commitments are met, while maintaining strong execution control and protecting business performance.
This is a high-visibility leadership role, requiring strong execution capability, customer management skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
What you will do
* Lead the end-to-end execution of operations, ensuring delivery performance against KPIs, timelines, and quality standards.
* Act as the main operational point of contact for the customer, managing expectations, escalations, and governance forums.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, rollout, operations, finance) to ensure aligned and efficient execution.
* Drive operational excellence by removing bottlenecks and improving delivery consistency.
* Ensure strong financial performance, managing cost drivers, protecting margins, and aligning execution with business targets.
* Provide clear reporting on performance, risks, and improvement plans to stakeholders.
* Proactively anticipate challenges and drive solution-oriented actions.
What you will bring
Must have
* Proven experience in operations, service delivery, or large-scale infrastructure rollout projects.
* Background in Telecom, IT, or infrastructure environments.
* Strong customer-facing experience managing complex and high-demand clients.
* Experience leading multi-functional teams in matrix organizations.
* Solid financial acumen related to project performance (cost, margin, planning).
* Ability to operate under pressure and drive execution.
* Strong communication skills (Spanish required; English needed)
Nice to have
* Experience in telecom operators, vendors, or infrastructure ecosystem.
* Exposure to large-scale rollout or transformation programs.
* Experience interacting with senior customer stakeholders.
