This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and wants to make a tangible impact on the growth of a forward-thinking engineering consultancy.
About You
Essential:
Must be based in Ireland
Some experience in a bids, tenders, proposals, pre-sales, or sales support environment
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, compelling narratives
Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
A collaborative, proactive mindset — comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality and accuracy
Desirable:
Experience in the engineering, construction, or professional services sector
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or similar design/desktop publishing tools
Familiarity with public procurement frameworks and tender portals

Support and coordinate the full bid management lifecycle — from opportunity identification and kick-off through to final submission — ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met
Develop persuasive, well-structured, and visually polished bid and tender documents tailored to each client and project
Conduct thorough client and market research to understand requirements, pain points, and priorities, and reflect these clearly in our proposals
Work cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and leadership teams — as well as subcontractor partners — to gather and synthesise the information needed to build winning submissions
Coordinate the compilation of technical and financial content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the client's brief
Maintain and continuously improve a library of bid content, CVs, project case studies, and standard responses
Proactively review and refine bid materials, applying lessons learned to raise the quality bar with each submission
Support the BID Manager in driving best practice across the bid function and contributing to the team's broader strategic growth objectives
